Pictured about is Kayden Knepp (left) as he is presented the Championship trophy for the winning the Championship Turkey Race at the Montgomery Turkey Trot on Sunday afternoon. Making the presentation is Shad Truelove (right) the President of the Montgomery Ruritan Club. Kayden moved into the winners circle with a time of 13.2 seconds just ahead of Abbi Knepp with 15.0 seconds and in third place was Maddox Wagler with a time of 18.8 seconds. Kayden joins his older brother Dalton as a winner in the Turkey racing family as Dalton won it 3 years in a row starting in 2015-16-17. The finals were rained out last year as no champion was crowned.

(In front is Keaton Stoll, Chad Daughter) In Third Place was Don Woodall who was not present for the picture. The Demo also featured a Mini Car Demo and Wire Demo. In the Wire Class Kaleb Braton won First Place and Trey Ramsey was Runner-Up. In the Mini Demo Eric Fisher was First, Mike Keith was Runner-Up and Matthew Keith was third place.

Pictured above is the winning Mud Volleyball Team from the 2019 Turkey Trot. Shown here Front (L-R) Jenna Knepp, Tiara Kenny, Olivia Wagler, Back (L-R) Matt Stoll, Logan James, Trevor Yoder, Andrew Scott, Addison Wagler, This is the first time for this team to win the Mud Volleyball Championship at the Turkey Trot.

Shown here is (L-R) Paxton Traylor (son of Adam & Amber Traylor), Kierson Lengacher (son of Brett & Loretta Lengacher), Carson Yoder (son of Richard & Jamie Yoder), Miller Thompson (son of Neil & Brooke Thompson), Hallie Knepp (Daughter of Ryan & Sarah Knepp), and Sophia Knepp (Daughter of Jeremy & Natalie Knepp) The Older Generation had their day on Saturday of Turkey Trot but on Sunday it was the youger kids who tried their hand at it. Good Crowds turned out for both.

Pictured above is the winning team at this year’s Turkey Trot and it was the Chris Hatfield’s team from Cromwell Kentucky. Making the presentation on behalf of the Montgomery Ruritan Club is Gary Wagler (second from left) to the Hatfield Family Members and Team. There were 11 teams in this years Horse Pull as it is one of the largest and best pulls in the Midwest.
